Step One
The Brief
If you’re interested in commissioning Appleton Design to produce eye-catching promotional material for your company, the first step is to provide us with a detailed brief. We encourage you to throw all your idea at us. Then we can sit down and, together, decide what platforms, style and message will work best for your company. It is your project and we never forget that. We are here to support you and offer advice, guidance and design expertise, but ultimately it is you that will steer the ship. Step Two
The Quote
Once we have a better understanding of your project Appleton Design will provide you with a quote. For most projects we will quote an all-inclusive price, rather than an hourly rate or page rate. We will also advise you of our availability, and the timeframe in which we can turn your project around.
Step Three
The Initial Concepts
Once you have accepted our quote and committed to working with us we will commence work and produce a handful of initial concepts for you to approve. These designs will usually be emailed to you in PDF format, although hard copy can be supplied if you would prefer.
Step Four
The Consultation
Once you have had time to appraise each concept and design, we welcome your comments, good or bad. This feedback will enable us to develop your preferred concept until, after continued consultation, you are happy with the final product.
Step Five
Completion
Your final design(s) can be supplied to you on a disc or via email in PDF format, whichever you prefer. If you wish Appleton Design to manage your print production we are happy to do so. We can liaise with our network of printers to get you the best quote, and then supply your project to the printers in the correct size and format. Once complete, websites can be uploaded to your host account.
